Glossary of Opportunity Tiers
Last updated: May 31, 2026
Every ticker mentioned in The Alpha Ledger falls into a defined Momentum Dynamics classification. Momentum Dynamics is a quantitative screening and ranking model used to organize stocks by structure, liquidity, expansion potential, and next session actionability.
All Pre Qualified Opportunities
The full pool of pre qualified stocks identified by Momentum Dynamics. These names passed internal screening and are eligible for further evaluation, but not all will be equally actionable for the next session.
Pre Qualified Early Repair
A pre qualified stock where structure is improving, but the daily trend profile is still in repair mode. These names may be earlier in the recovery process and deserve observation, but they may require more confirmation before becoming highly actionable.
Pre Qualified Constructive Momentum
A pre qualified stock where structure is improving from a stronger position. These names have already moved into a more constructive daily momentum profile and may offer cleaner context for the next session.
Money’s Picks
Money’s Picks are the stocks I am watching most closely for short term trading opportunities. These names show strong activity, solid trading volume, and enough price movement to make them worth monitoring for the next session. They are not buy or sell recommendations. They are simply the clearest short term opportunities on my radar.
Action Book
A subset of All Pre Qualified Opportunities, these stocks are structurally ready in Momentum Dynamics. They have met higher confirmation standards, exhibited thrust, and represent top trade candidates pending proper execution conditions.
Labels
High Conviction
Action Book names only. These are the strongest Momentum Dynamics opportunities, where setup readiness and momentum expansion align. They receive highest priority when present.
Closing Note
The Alpha Ledger is a screening digest for educational and observational purposes. It is not a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Capital preservation comes first.
