Welcome to The Alpha Ledger
The Alpha Ledger is a nightly stock research brief. It helps you narrow a large market into a short list of stocks worth studying for the next session.
What we review
After the market closes, we screen actively traded stocks. We look at price action, trading volume, chart structure, and the quality of each setup.
Price action means how a stock moves over time. Trading volume means how many shares change hands. Chart structure means the pattern created by price and volume.
What you receive
Each setup is ranked by conviction. Conviction is our measure of how well a setup meets the screening rules. A higher rank means more rules are met. It does not mean the trade will work.
How to use the Ledger
Start with the highest ranked names. Review the chart. Plan your entry, exit, and risk before you trade.
Your entry is where you plan to open the trade. Your exit is where you plan to close it. Your risk limit is the most you are willing to lose.
Skip any trade you do not understand.
What the Ledger does not do
The Ledger does not predict prices or guarantee results. It is independent market research for educational purposes only. It is not financial advice.
Final word
Use the Ledger to focus your research. Make every trading decision yourself.
